So, I had one day to really enjoy Paris before the fairs. No kids, no hubby. All alone. The first thing that came to mind was to sleep-in, and thats exactly what I did. I took my time with a long breakfast at the hotel and headed out to explore Paris (read shopping) for a few hours. Oh, joy!
Travel

My trip to Paris was a mix of work and pleasure. I was there primarily for the International kids deco and clothing fair, Playtime Paris. I know we are all longing for Spring and Summer but after seeing all the great brands presenting fall/winter collections, I’m not dreading fall at all. Here is a peek at my trip and a few brands I fell in love with during my stay in Paris.

I stayed at the cutest hotel, Providence Paris, in the heart of the Eastern district. Go check it out if you can!

My first stop was Merci and all the great shops around this area. Merci is really amazing, small, but amazing. You have everything under one roof, vintage furniture, emerging new fashion brands or well established designers. I love it!

Small but oh, so sweet! Just like Merci.

I'll take them all, thank you!

BONTON flagship store (around the corner from Merci) is a must visit if you are shopping for your little one. Amazing shop and great clothes. Lucky me, they had a sale!!

Another must-visit is the new shop, Smallable. So many great brands in one place and this is not just another shop, it’s a universe for the whole family to enjoy. It's located in Saint Germain des Prés.

Oh, and I also love the brand, Finger In The Nose, very cool clothes and accessories for boys and girls. They have a shop in Saint Germain des Prés, which is worth a visit.

Time for Playtime!

Now, where to start...

Icelandic brand (pictured above), As We Grow, was so lovely! It's timeless design will last forever. The clothes are made of quality fabrics; alpaca wool and pima cotton. Check out As We Grow here.

Peace, love and boogie, from NYC based brand Oeuf. One of my absolute favourites at the fair.

SuperPetit is a brand that makes soft melamine and silicone dinnerware, kids bottles, snack bags and creative silicone table mats with washable pens (Bpa and phthalates Free). Go check out SuperPetit here.

I want to cover my little ones in Ayamara knits! Every garment is made of precious baby alpaca or merino wool, oh so soft. This whole collection hung in bright and soft colours on the rack, just ready to be worn. Shop Aymara here.

Bobo Choses AW16 collection was SO good! I love how creative they always are, these are clothes just made for kids to have fun in. They are of course very secretive, so I can't show anything from the actual collection... but I can tell you this, no one will be disappointed. Shop Bobo Choses spring/summer here.
The list is long... I also loved Caramel Baby and Child, which had a great home collection. Organic brand, Kidscase, was also a favourite and Tiny Cottons, Hugo Loves Tiki, Cam Cam Copenhagen etc. etc.
Until next time Paris.
